I had a baby four months ago and have been losing wieght since. Now I have alot of loose skin all over my stomach (especially pelvic area) and inner thighs. Does anyone know how I can start tightening it up?

How do I tighten up loose skin?
There are yoga exercises to firm and tighten muscles.
Reply:Staples?
Reply:gain wait
Reply:yes, eat in good quantity broccoli boiled and other veg salads.
Reply:I have the same problem, I had 4 children in 5 years, my last 4 months ago, and I gained more weight with my last child then the ones before so I have loose skin also. I will be checking on answers that you get! I am normally about 118 pounds (and I am now-and I am 5'8" tall) but went up to 160 with pregnancy, so I lose the weight fast but my skin is all stretched out too. I don't think there is much to be done besides surgery. I think a tummy tuck is the only answer-I can like stretch my skin back up and have a normal belly button again-in the right place! The muscles are not the problem, it is just extra skin so exercises will not help-and I have no fat on my abdomen.
Reply:Just try to do toning exercises and weight lifting (small weights are good for the arms) Sometimes though after having a baby there is no way to "fix" loose skin. Once skin loses its elasticity, it won't get tight anymore. So you might consider surgery. My gf is losing weight, she had my two daughters within 2 years, my youngest is 1 now. Shs has been losing weight and I promised I would pay for her tummy tuck when she has reached her goal. Good luck and best wishes
Reply:If it's just the skin there is no way you can tighten that up without a tummy tuck. My personal trainer at the gym had the same problem. She had to have a tuck. If that's not an option maybe you could gain a little of the weight back to fill the skin back in. No amount of weights or crunches will help and it's more common than you think with women who have had babies.
